I had a brainstorm one night and decided to make some custom dangle earrings from a spare set of Daredevil’s billy clubs. I put them on a small chain along with a tiny Swarovski crystal, and now they belong to a DD fan out in California.

Custom Steampunk Daredevil
I wanted this guy to look like a cross between the Rocketeer and an early barnstorming daredevil from the biplane era. I got the basic idea from Sillof on his site. This is built on a 12″ Power Man figure. I made the stick from a chopstick and wrapped it with wire. Apoxie Sculpt is the modeling compound. He’s painted with acrylics, and the brass “buttons” are real brass punchouts from a jewelry project.

Marvel Trivia Game
In 2003, after the Daredevil movie came out, and Spider-Man had been such a big hit, Marvel put out a trivia game.
It had such riveting questions as “Who was Daredevil’s first love?” “What did Daredevil’s father do for a living?” and my favorite, because they used movieverse revisionist history: “How old was Daredevil when he got his powers?’ This card says “Thirteen”. Comic canon says fifteen. Pretty lame game, overall. I picked it up at a flea market.
