First look at the Shadowland Daredevil Mighty Mugg

Just couldn’t pass up a chance to do another Mighty Mugg when the new costume was released!

Marvel Trivia Game

In 2003, after the Daredevil movie came out, and Spider-Man had been such a big hit, Marvel put out a trivia game.

It had such riveting questions as “Who was Daredevil’s first love?” “What did Daredevil’s father do for a living?” and my favorite, because they used movieverse revisionist history: “How old was Daredevil when he got his powers?’ This card says “Thirteen”. Comic canon says fifteen.  Pretty lame game, overall.  I picked it up at a flea market.

Another Daredevil hat

This is the first movie swag I got. I keep this with me in the car to cut the glare when I drive.  I also like that it has embroidery on the back.

What a drag(ster)

One of the cooler looking diecast DD cars.  Packaged with an Elektra car, and also in a six pack.

More snazzy wheels

Johnny Lightning diecast model.  They called this one “Bumongus”, I suppose because it was one of those humongus Buicks from way back.

DD does not jump the shark

“For the last damn time, it’s Fonzie that jumped the shark, not ME.  Now get out and stay out!”

No, the shark tried to jump DD, and that ain’t happenin’.

Mad Hatter

When the dvd of the Daredevil movie came out, some Walmart employees were given hats and t-shirts for the advertising. (I actually went to a Walmart at midnight to buy the dvd. Didn’t have to fight the crowds.)  Someone was smart enough to not wear his/hers, and put them on ebay for me to buy.   Very cheap.  I’ll show you the shirt later.

Creepsville

This is the other version of the Daredevil “Twist ‘Em”.  This is probably the creepiest DD thing I have.  Wind him up, and you’ll run away screaming in terror!

Duelin’ Nunchucks

Obviously, this is Movie Version DD, Big Ben.  They did a pretty good likeness of his face, which looks almost identical to the 12″ movie figure sculpt.  The details on this guy’s funky little body are fairly true to the movie costume, too.  Wind him up and he’ll walk right off your desk.  Look out, DD!

Stars and Stripes Forever

Cap isn’t the only one who can be patriotic in the Marvel U.  Happy Flag Day, America!
